Raven Electric Inc has been a cornerstone of the Anchorage, AK community since 1978. Over the last 40 years, we have helped both commercial and residential customers with all of their electrical needs. Regardless of the size of the project, we have experienced technicians ready to help. Each member of our team is trained and certified before they see any fieldwork. This gives you the confidence that your project is in the best hands.

Dave House – President
Dave has been an electrician for over 25 years and has held an Electrical Administrators License for 13 years. He joined the Raven team in 2000 and became President in 2017. He believes in continually working to uphold a commitment to excellence. As an Air Force Gulf War Veteran, Dave possesses the same pride in his business as he did in serving our country. Dave also is acting President for the Alaska chapter of the IAEI (International Association of Electrical Inspectors) and is a board of directors’ member of the Northwest Section for IAEI since 2012. When he is not working, Dave is an avid horseman, volunteers for nonprofits, and enjoys spending time with his family of 15 to include wife (Sonya), 2 daughters (Katelynn and MacKenzie), 1 son (Todd), 5 horses, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 rabbit.
Preston McKee – Technical Service Manager
Preston adds another 36-years of electrical and telecommunications experience to the Raven Electric team. Preston is an electrical administrator and BICSI accredited RCDD. He maintains current memberships with NFPA, IAEI, NETA, and BICSI and has factory training from a variety of leading manufacturers. Preston enjoys working with customers to find solutions that fit their needs. Raised in Alaska, Preston can be found riding his BMW motorcycle, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors when he is not working.
Matt Elliott – Electrical Project Manager
Matt has been with Raven Electric since the beginning of his career in the electrical trade over 16 years ago. He has excelled in his current position as an electrical project manager, providing great customer service and seeing projects through. Matt is a people person who is always trying to put the customer first and meet all challenges with great solutions. Matt enjoys being in a workplace that feels like family. He was born and raised here in Alaska and loves to be outside camping or fishing. He loves teaching his son about being an outdoorsman along with his wife of 10 years.
Erik Burger – Telecommunications Project Manager
Erik heads our telecommunications department, covering data, security, phones, A/V, and more. Erik moved back to Alaska from the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area where he managed telecommunications projects for a variety of industries. His 20+ years of experience in design/build, working with some of our nation’s largest General Contractors and Architectural firms, will be an asset as we move forward in expanding our services to the community. When not hard at work, Erik can be found on his motorcycle during riding season, fishing, shooting, and is a huge fan of his alma mater’s football team, the Colorado State University Rams.
Stacey Cortez – Project Coordinator/Office Manager
Stacey has been with Raven Electric, Inc since 2015. Stacey is passionate about people and building long-lasting relationships with our customers. If you have an electrical problem or are interested in a free quote for your next electrical project, you will most likely talk to Stacey. She will help answer your questions and set an appointment for you with one of our qualified electricians. Stacey is a native Oregonian but has loved living in Alaska for the last six years. She is interested in the Oregon Ducks, cooking, and volunteers regularly at her church and through community events.
Matt Lederhos – Financial Manager
Born and raised in Alaska, Matt started working at Raven Electric in 1997. With over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, Matt has been a part of every department through his career here. Matt has been instrumental in developing a company that possesses the expertise and commitment to delivering quality work and taking care of our clients. Matt now oversees employee trainings, human resources, and is the Financial Manager for Raven Electric Inc Matt enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering at his church, hiking, camping, and off-roading with his Jeep.
